Young hurlers take centre stage

THERE is a feast of hurling in store at Pairc Uí Rinn on Saturday with three county section finals in the under 12 hurling championship are down for decision.

First into action in the “C” final are Glanmire and Killeagh at 1.30 p.m. and the fact that the game is an all East Cork affair should added extra spice to it.

The second game brings together Millstreet and Aghada in the “B” final at 3.00 p.m.

The “A” final at 4.15 p.m. sees a highly rated Midleton pit themselves against St Brogans (Bandon), and with the Magpies making a determined effort to get back to the top, this should be a cracking contest.
