Cunningham set to join Cork selection committee

FORMER goalkeeping star Ger Cunningham is set to join the Cork senior hurling selection committee under new manager John Allen.

The County Board has yet to formally ratify the new committee, which will be completed when champions Na Piarsaigh choose their representative.

Last season, Cunningham was brought in by Donal O’Grady to help in a coaching capacity with the goalkeepers on the panel and the belief is that Allen will use his former St. Finbarrs team-mate in an enhanced coaching capacity.
