Waterford give opening Croker the nod

The Waterford County GAA Board, at their monthly meeting in Dungarvan last night, voted overwhelmingly to give authority to Central Council to decide on the opening of Croke Park for use by other sports.

The meeting decided that this opening would be on a temporary basis while the redevelopment of Lansdowne Road is taking place.
