MUNSTER Council Chairman Sean Fogarty has expressed concern about the over indulgence in alcohol by young people.

He described the decision to change the law obliging licensed premises to close for two hours on Sunday afternoons as “misguided.”

The GAA recently adopted the report of a sub-committee examining the problem. Implementation of their recommendations would be the Association’s first serious effort to tackle it, he said.
