Corcoran moves forward in Erins Own comeback

FORMER Hurler of the Year Brian Corcoran last night confirmed his return to the game after an absence of two and a half years.

Corcoran, who retired in 2001 is to re-commence training with Erin’s Own later this month.

But he dismisses talk of an inter-county return: “it is far too early to say. I have not thought about it at all.” The decision though to return to his home side was much easier to make. “I am 31 years of age this year and if I did not come back this year, I would never have come back. I am making sure I made the right decision,” he said.
