Lockhart to quit Rules scene
"Even before I came out, I had decided it was my last tour, irrespective of what happened. I got a good innings. I was there for seven years and I'm happy to retire at that,'' he said.
"We have had our highs and lows on tours, but as regards violent play, this has probably been the worst. On previous tours the Australians were aggressive physically, but they never went to the extent that Chris Johnson did.
"They were a very good side one of the best we have played in the last four tours. We just think their victory was tarnished by the fact that Chris Johnson lost his cool.''
Four years ago, Lockhart was the victim of a late tackle which briefly knocked him unconscious.
Meanwhile Tyrone star Brian McGuigan is staying on in Australia.
He plans to come home in January and will be available for the League.
