Minor defeat costs Cork an extra 2,000 tickets for decider
This figure was given by secretary Frank Murphy when he informed Tuesday night’s county board meeting of Cork’s allocation of tickets for next month’s All-Ireland final clash with Kilkenny.
As the biggest county in Ireland and as one of the participating teams in the final, Cork will receive close on 10,880 tickets (3,600 for Hill 16) which won’t go any where near meeting the expected demand if one is to judge by the number of followers who attended the two semi-finals against Wexford.
