Waterford have proved they’ve got what it takes, says McGrath
While he doesn't say so, he knows very well his own team is not far behind in the pecking order. The only problem is they haven't achieved the consistency in the All-Ireland series that they have been managing in the province.
McGrath has been enjoying something of a second coming since moving to the heart of the Waterford defence. He was brilliant at centre-back in the opening championship win over Clare and, without ever reaching the same standard in the semi-final, was still very effective.
