Gaelic Telecom gets Cork backing

Following this endorsement Gaelic Telecom, which is an official partner to the GAA, is now offering its services directly to all Cork members. As part of the service, members who transfer to Gaelic Telecom will keep their existing phone number and save between 20% and 40% on their own phone bills. In addition they will also have the opportunity to help raise funds for their county or club.

Importantly for the selected club or county, 15% of the call spend by Gaelic Telecom customers will go directly back to their nominated club and/or county.

A Cork Club, which is nominated by 100 members, could receive 9,000 per annum

Jim Forbes Chairman of Cork County Board said: “This is an exciting and very important initiative from the GAA that contributes to the grassroots development of our national games. The Gaelic Telecom offer has the potential to deliver significant financial windfalls for all clubs in Cork.

. We are delighted to be launching Gaelic Telecom in County Cork and would encourage all members & supporters to give serious consideration in transferring to Gaelic Telecom.”
