Cork are well prepared and have a positive outlook

THE Cork hurling management are in positive mood facing into the second phase of the Allianz NHL and dates with Galway, Clare and Waterford.

Cork are well prepared and have a positive outlook

"You couldn't ask for a better championship preparation, in that we will be meeting the three better teams in form in the other section,'' selector John Allen admitted.

"Before this League structure came into place you always had a few weeks when you were looking for games. At least we have three games that do matter. If we don't qualify for the final, we will have three weeks to prepare for the Kerry game. And if we are involved, we will be playing championships the following Sunday and meeting Limerick on May 30.''
