RTÉ-GPA drinks row meeting fails to make progress

THE row between RTÉ and the GPA over product placement in post-match interviews rumbles on after no resolution was reached at a meeting between the parties last night.

GPA officials refused to comment on the discussions, but it was confirmed that another meeting is planned.

“There is nothing new to report, the meeting was held and another meeting is planned for later in the weekend possibly later today,” said an RTÉ source.
