Sometimes you get asked by a GAA club or county if they might have grounds to challenge a player’s suspension for a vital, forthcoming game. There are three Newton-type laws that apply to GAA appeals:
Law 1: The more talented the player, the more wronged they have been by the referee; similarly, the more local the rival, the more “vital” the game.
