Previously O’Brien’s best break had been 143 but he went the full distance this afternoon.
The Championship League is a non-ranking snooker tournament held at the Crondon Park Golf Club annually since 2008.
43-year-old O’Brien has been a member of snooker's main tour since turning professional in 1991 and is currently ranked 34 in the World Snooker rankings.
He won the British Open in 1999.
This was the 118th official 147 & the 4th in the Championship League. First 147 for Fergal O'Brien who had a high break of 143 before.#147sf

Ronnie O'Sullivan wouldn't be too impressed with his reward though - The 147 is set to earn O'Brien £500.
