The Belfast fighter defeated Cameroon's Thomas Essomba on a scoreline of 15-10, meaning he will box for his second Olympic medal on Wednesday night.

The Irish champion will box Devendro Laishram of India who defeated Mongolia's Serdamba Purevdorj, a silver medal winner from the Beijing Olympics, in the other quarter-final.
