Zurich to host 2014 European Athletics Championships

European Athletics has awarded the 2014 European Athletics Championships to the Swiss city of Zurich.

European Athletics has awarded the 2014 European Athletics Championships to the Swiss city of Zurich.

The European Athletics Council made the unanimous decision this morning after the Swiss athletics federation and city of Zurich presented their candidacy to host the 22nd edition of the event.
