Doherty in action in Shanghai quarter-finals

Ireland's Ken Doherty is due to contest his first ranking tournament quarter-final in more than two years later today.

The Dubliner takes on World Champion Shaun Murphy at the Shanghai Masters after a 5-4 win over Barry Hawkins in the second round of the event.

Doherty last reached a quarter-final at the 2007 China Open in Beijing.
