Community Games come to a close

More than 2,500 children from all over the country are taking part in the final weekend of the Community Games in Athlone IT.

The event includes a wide range of activities such as basketball, javelin, tag rugby and rounders.

This is the first time the finals have been held in a new location.

Up until this year they were held in Mosney in Co Meath.

A closing ceremony will be held later this evening.
