Team Ireland is facing another busy day at the European Indoor Championships in Turin today after Derval O'Rourke's bronze-medal performance in the 60m hurdles yesterday.

Team Ireland is facing another busy day at the European Indoor Championships in Turin today after Derval O'Rourke's bronze-medal performance in the 60m hurdles yesterday.

Niamh Whelan and Ailis McSweeney are first up today in the 60m heats, followed by Deirdre Ryan in the high jump qualifiers.

Paul Hession will also be in action in the first round of the 60m, while Mary Cullen and Deirdre Byrne will both be contesting the first round of the 3,000m.

David McCarthy will race in the semi-final of the 800m and Kelly Proper will be looking to break her Irish record again as she competes in the long jump final and RoisĂ­n McGettigan takes part in the 1,500m.
