Appeal over Gillick fall

The Irish team management has lodged an appeal over David Gillick’s fall in the semi-final of the 400m at the European Indoor Championships in Turin.

Gillick appeared to be pushed by Romanian Ioan Vieru as he tried to pass and he subsequently fell on to the track.
