Gillick sets new record in 400m sprint

David Gillick has set a new Irish record in the 400 metres.

The European indoor champion set the new mark of 45.26 seconds in Geneva last night.

He was 0.32 of a second inside Paul McKee's old mark of 45.58 set in Santry five years ago.
