World champion Shaun Murphy takes to the green baize tomorrow for his first tournament since last season’s heroics at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield.
Murphy, just 23, stunned the sporting world in May when he won snooker’s biggest prize, beating Matthew Stevens 18-16 in the Embassy World Championship final.
