It takes Tszyu for Kosta to make weight

Kostya Tszyu needed two attempts to hit the 10-stone light-welterweight limit at today’s weigh-in for his IBF title defence against Ricky Hatton in Manchester.

Tszyu was forced to shed three ounces in 40 minutes to make the weight exactly, after Hatton had tipped the scales one quarter of a pound inside at nine stone, 13 3/4oz.
