BAR must be more reliable, admits engineer

BAR’s chief race engineer believes the team need to be more reliable in the second half of the season to mount a continued challenge on the constructors’ championship.

The last two rounds of the world championship in North America have seen just one BAR Honda car cross the finish line each time after Takuma Sato suffered engine failure after 48 laps in Canada and Jenson Button had a gearbox problem forcing him out on lap 27 at Indianapolis.
