Ferrari boss Jean Todt has spelt out his determination to ensure Formula One’s minnows do not fall by the wayside.

Last weekend’s United States Grand Prix saw Minardi score their first point since March 2002 with the Italian team struggling just to make it on to the Formula One grid each season.
