Ronnie O’Sullivan was closing in on his second Embassy World Championship crown after opening up a 12-8 lead over rank outsider Graeme Dott at The Crucible.

O’Sullivan won three of the opening four frames in the best-of-35 contest after resuming 9-7 ahead.
