France kick off defence of their crown

After a stunning opening ceremony, France kicked off the defence of their World Cup by aiming to dazzle opponents Senegal with their strike power.

French coach Roger Lemerre picked Thierry Henry, David Trezeguet, Sylvain Wiltord and Youri Djorkaeff in a formidable looking starting line-up at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.
