Lazio defender Jaap Stam is considering suing his former club, Manchester United, after his abrupt departure from Old Trafford earlier this year.

United manager Alex Ferguson unexpectedly sold Stam to Lazio after the Dutchman revealed some uncomfortable home truths in his autobiography.
