Horseracing: McCoy admits to dream ride
Tony McCoy has admitted See More Business would be a "dream" ride to pick up in next month's Tote Cheltenham Gold Cup.
But he refused to fuel speculation linking his name to the mount, stressing that he remains committed at this stage to partnering Cyfor Malta for Martin Pipe in the feature race at the National Hunt Festival.
The ride on the Paul Nicholls-trained See More Business is up for grabs as Mick Fitzgerald is to partner recent Wincanton scorer Marlborough instead a fortnight on Thursday.
Champion jockey McCoy said in his Daily Telegraph column: "What a dream 'spare' he would be. He's won two King Georges, a Gold Cup and a Martell Chase and any jockey in the world would be delighted to stand in.
"As for me I'm still hoping Cyfor Malta will get there but that will not be confirmed for a while."
Cyfor Malta came home a distant last of three finishers behind See More Business when the pair clashed in the Pillar Property Chase at Cheltenham last month.
