Donal O'Grady was at the awards ceremony for the Bishopstown Library Summer Reading Challenge "Rise Up and Read" today.

While there, he told a bunch of young readers about the importance of getting back up and trying again when knocked down.

And he told his audience all about the "fantastic character" that inspired him all those years ago.
