Benson Henderson grinds out hard fought win in historic night in Seoul

For the first time ever, the UFC headed to South Korea to host UFC Fight Night 79 at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul.

mmalatestnews.com reports: The card featured a main event of Benson Henderson taking on Jorge Masvidal and had several local Korean fighters taking part in a UFC event for the first time in their home country.

Thiago Alves had been originally booked to face Henderson however, an injury to Alves just two weeks before fight night ruled him out and led to Masvidal being called up at extremely short notice to take his place.
