Bonaparte edges Killester past DCU

UCC Demons unbeaten record in the men’s Premier League continued following a comprehensive win over Dublin Inter. Demons put their opponents under serious pressure right from tip off as they surged into 56-32 interval lead.
The trend of the game changed little in the second half as player/coach Colin O’Reilly could afford to use various rotations as his side ran out easy 89-65 winners.
For Demons stalwart captain Shane Coughlan, it was an impressive performance from his side.
“It’s a been a few years since a Demons side played as well as we did today in the first half as our pace simply blew Dublin Inter away,” Coughlan said.
