The collective waists of Klitschko brothers are adorned with the WBA, IBF, WBO, IBO and WBC heavyweight belts, with Wladimir, the youngest of the Ukrainian siblings, possessing four of the titles.

Fury’s promoter, Mick Hennessy, said they are in talks with the Team Klitschko and a fight could be on the cards for Croke Park, Old Trafford or Germany next Spring.

Vitali Klitschko is reported to be considering retirement for a political career after his UDAR party came third in the Ukrainian elections so Wladimir looks the more likely.

However, if Fury wants a shot at one of the Ukrainians he’ll have to dispatch American-born Johnson, who dropped a unanimous decision to Vitali Klitschko for the WBC crown in 2009.

Fury, 24, who boxed for Ireland and England in the amateur ranks, goes into tonight’s eliminator with 19 straight wins to his name and is vowing to go on to win the world title for Ireland.

The unbeaten 6’9’’ Manchester-born giant is in peak condition and reckons he’s the best heavyweight since Lennox Lewis and that no one, including the Klitschkos, can live with him.

“People haven’t seen the best of me. I’m still only 24 but on Saturday night in Belfast, you will see just how much I have improved. I could have a 20-round war if I had to. I can fight. I can box.

“I do anything in the ring. Nobody can live with me, that includes the Klitschkos.”

Chris Eubank Jnr meets Bradley Pryce on tonight’s undercard.

Eubank Jnr has won seven from seven, and, like his famous father, prefers to arrive in the ring by vaulting over the ropes.
