Host of stars get in gear for Easter’s Rás Mumhan
The event boasts a field of close to 150 top-class riders from Holland, England, the Isle of Man, Wales, France and Germany competing with the best of the Irish over four days of racing on the Easter Bank Holiday weekend (April 22-25). Last year’s winner Timmy Barry heads the Irish challenge, while the local attempt to keep the title in the Kingdom will be led by Sean Lacey and Paul Griffin. The race will be held in four stages over the long weekend: Stage 1 will take place on Good Friday in the East Kerry area, starting and finishing in Killorglin. The second stage will take place on Saturday April 23 in West Kerry, finishing on top of the Conor Pass.
Easter Sunday for stage three finishes in Waterville while the final day sees the race go back to Killorglin.
