Fans on song after win and new signings

SITTING in the away end at Hampden Park for the Scotland v Northern Ireland game a week ago I was reminded of one of my favourite chants, dedicated to Ulster’s goalscoring hero David Healy.

I was pretty chuffed to hear after the game that he was set to move to Sunderland, meaning one of my favourite football songs could be on its way to the Stadium of Light.

“Away in a manger, no crib for his bed, the little lord Jesus laid down His sweet head. The stars in the bright sky, looked down where He-lay! Healy, Healy, Healy!”
