Hamilton shrugs off Bahrain crash

LEWIS HAMILTON yesterday apologised to McLaren for the smash that will leave his mechanics working through the night to fix the damage.

The world championship leader was involved in the second accident of his Formula One career as he prepares for tomorrow’s Bahrain Grand Prix.

Hamilton conceded the shunt 10 minutes from the end of the practice session was of his own making.
