MacColgáin and Duggan second

Day two of the championships at the sailing venue for the 2012 Olympics saw the Irish pairing showing a strong ability to move forward through the fleet, narrowly squeezing past their French rivals in race four to take fifth place at the line.

Their strength was shown again when, after a less than ideal first beat in race five, the duo managed to pull back to the front of the pack and retrieve another sixth place to compliment their consistent series of scoring.
