Not that they would admit it publicly but if the Football Review Committee (FRC) was told their clock/hooter idea was to die a death, few tears would be shed.

Unlike the majority of their proposals, it doesn’t relate to the game of Gaelic football per se. Because of logistical and financial difficulties, it was only brought in for a proportion of the games this season and is only applied in some club matches.
