WALES RUGBY: Georgia extends invitation to play Wales who are going through a 14 match losing streak. 

Since Ireland’s first match, against England at The Oval cricket ground 150 years ago this Saturday, the oldest annual international tournament has turned a blind eye anything revolutionary like promotion and relegation.

In all that time the four home countries running the event have restricted radical changes to three, one for every 50 years. They kept France waiting for access to cosiest of Cosy Clubs until 1910, then kicked them out 21 years later on suspicion of paying their players.
