Like Greece leading the athletes’ parade or the torch relay from Olympia or a dull opening speech by the IOC President, there’s something reassuringly predictable about the media coverage ahead of the Olympic Games. Specifically, that of the host country’s readiness to welcome over 10,000 athletes and millions of fans.
