You can only dance with the girls on the dancefloor, so the saying goes, and in that context, any criticism of the Irish rugby team going too hard on woefully inferior opposition seems a little - what’s the word - harsh? 

Ireland hammered Wales on Saturday in Dublin two weeks after hammering Italy and three weeks after hammering the one team that we never hammer, France.
