Seamus Sexton won the Connie Killarney Cup final on the Marsh Road where he beat Michael Bohane with his 18th shot past the line.

Sexton just shaded the opening tips. Bohane then played three great bowls in succession to raise almost a bowl. He was a full bowl clear after a great fifth past the council yard gate. He took his lead to two bowls with two more big throws to the silvery gate.

Sexton began to dig his way out of this hole with a good bowl from the silvery gate to knock the second bowl. They both made the steps in two more where Bohane still had over a bowl. Sexton knocked the bowl of odds with his next. Bohane kept his lead close to a bowl with a great shot past Thornhill Cross.
