Waajida set to continue the Weld success story

ONCE-raced Waajida can continue the Dermot Weld success-story at Ballybrit this week by taking the Dawn Juice EBF Maiden at Galway today.

The daughter of Dubawi made a promising start at Leopardstown in early June and it is reasonable to expect will strip a far more potent machine now.

Waajida was beaten into third spot then, behind Moran Gra and Mark Twain. There are two ways of looking at that contest, on the basis Moran Gra went on run a cracker in the Coventry stakes at Royal Ascot and Mark Twain has since done nothing for the form.
