As a hurling man who never had any experience or exposure to divisional teams in our own club championship in Clare, I was always intrigued by the whole concept. For years, I didn’t really get, or understand the reasoning, so I was naturally keen to study and learn more about it.

In conducting any meaningful research, the best way to discover more is to learn from someone centrally involved. So I went straight to Mark Landers.
