WHEN I was driving in to Ennis from west Clare on Wednesday morning, I was struck more by the lack of colour around the place, than the actual colour.
As I was making my way in along the Kilrush road, just before you cross into the market area, there was one house with three Clare flags draped across the front. It caught my eye, not because there was any extravagant display, but purely because it was the most latent demonstration of support I’d seen for over 20 miles.
