Gardaí appeal for witnesses following hit-and-run in Cork

A man in his 20s, who was injured in the incident, was taken by air ambulance to Cork University Hospital where he is being treated for serious but non-life threatening injuries

Gardaí say the driver of one of the cars involved failed to remain at the scene and has yet to come forward.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a hit-and-run road traffic collision that occurred in Doneraile, Co Cork last Friday afternoon.

Gardaí and emergency services were alerted at approximately 2.30pm to a road traffic incident involving two cars at Brough Cross, Doneraile, on Friday, June 28.
