“It’s bright, modern and in immaculate condition and has an A3 BER,” says Michaella Buckley of O’Mahony Walsh noting the insulated garden room/ home office added by the owners at the rear is a big plus.
“Since buying it as a new build in 2019, they put in a covered decked area, built some raised beds for growing vegetables, and added bin storage at the front,” she said.

Given the condition, the energy rating and the location, less than 3km from Douglas village, Ms Buckley wasn’t at all surprised when she secured an early bid of the €375,000 guide price from a first-time buyer.
Inside the 82sq m house, there’s an L shaped open plan kitchen/ dining/ living space which has a TV watching area at the front, a kitchen with shaker-style grey units and patio doors at the rear, and a guest WC.

Upstairs there are two carpeted en suite bedrooms. Outside, the property has two parking spaces and a well laid out back garden with a timber cabin.
“It’s convenient not only to Douglas but also to the South Ring Road,” notes Ms Buckley.

A first floor property, it’s in a 1990s-built complex with communal parking and gardens, which, as the name suggests, is surrounded by woodland.
“This has been a long-term rental — occupied by the same tenant for quite a long time and is attractively decorated and very well kept,” says Mr Downey who is seeking offers of €295,000.
A 71sq m property with a B2 energy rating, its accommodation includes an open plan living/ dining space with cream kitchen units in one corner. It also has a bathroom and two bedrooms, one with an en suite. Off the living space at the rear, it has a small balcony which overlooks a wooded area and a communal garden.
Woodville is a small development of 30 properties and consists of three blocks which each have apartments in the centre and terraced houses at the sides.
Sales in Woodville seem to be quite infrequent. The most recent one in July 2025 was of No 28, a two-bed apartment which sold for €270,000. The year before, two other apartments, No 7 and No 18 sold for €260,000 and €268,000 respectively.
: The mature setting, the Rochestown location, and affordability of the property might be equally well appreciated by first-time buyers.

Listing it with a guide of €245,000, Kyle Kennedy of Kennedy Estate Agents says the 1900s-built terraced property was upgraded and rearranged by current owners in 2025: “It has new flooring, and bathrooms, and new ground-floor windows.”

It has an en suite bedroom at ground level, a kitchen/ dining/ living space, a bathroom, and a bedroom on the first floor, and two bedrooms on the top one.
: Very prettily presented.

Selling agent Mark Keohane of Sherry FitzGerald Cork says the well-kept 2006-built ground floor property is conveniently located within 3km of the city centre and appeals to investors and young couples.
It has an open plan kitchen/dining/living space — as well as a bathroom and a bedroom. Overlooking a green at the front, the apartment has a good-sized enclosed patio at the rear.

: Small but modern and affordable.
