A 19th-century Tibetan thangka or Buddhist temple painting leads the sale. The work on silk shows a four-armed deity, Padmapani, a personification of compassion in Buddhism. Most likely created for enshrinement on the wall of a large and significant monastery, it is estimated at €60,000-€80,000.
