Cut flowers and sustainability have long been viewed as incompatible. But a new wave of eco-conscious floristry is transforming the way florists are growing, sourcing and designing their bouquets.

Sustainability is no longer just a buzzword, but the foundation of the designs blooming at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show. “The RHS have endorsed no foam,” says Colin Gray, managing director of Lavender Green Flowers. “That’s going across RHS Chelsea Flower Show and Chelsea in Bloom.”
