Demonstrations, charity events and competitions

• The East Cork Flower Club will hold their AGM on Monday 4th November at 7.30pm in St John The Baptist NS, Dungourney Road, Midleton (P25PO28). There will be an imposed class "Have a go" for all members to partake. Just turn up. All materials are provided. Members competition: Horticulture (1) One stem of berries. (2) One stem of shrub (3) Exhibit Title: "Halloween" size 60cm & 25cm. Visitors welcome €7.
• Clonakilty Flower Club will hold its November night on Monday the 11th, at 8pm, in Clonakilty GAA Complex, Ahamilla, Clonakilty. Demonstrators on the night are club members. The night includes the usual raffle and refreshments. All are welcome.
• Cork Flower Cub are holding their Gala Demonstration with Cherie Nummy N.I.G.F.A.S. demonstrating 'Oh, What a Pantomime' It takes place at Douglas GAA Hall T12 N2TH on Tuesday, November 12 at 7.30pm Doors open 7pm for 7.30pm start, supporting “As I Am” Autism Charity and Alzheimer’s Society. • Macroom Flower & Garden Club’s annual Charity Gala Floral Demonstration takes place on Thursday, November 14 at 8pm, by Margaret Ahern of AOIFA. The club are supporting two charities; AsIAm - Ireland's National Autism Charity and Macroom Senior Citizens. Doors open at 7pm. Admission €20. For further details, contact 087-9821708.
• Glengarra Flower & Garden Club hosts their Christmas Gala Floral Demonstration by Janet Maddock on Thursday, November 14 at 7.30pm at Buurncourt Community Hall, Burncourt, Cahir, Co.Tipperary (E21X674). • The Munster Agricultural Society, home of the Cork Summer Show, is running a Christmas Fair on Tuesday, December 10. It includes a Christmas Pudding, Christmas Decorations and Christmas Floral Display competitions that are free to enter.
