The interior designer says we all need to take responsibility for our environment — and her sledgehammer-wielding onscreen partner, builder Peter Finn, shares the belief. “This kind of professionalisation of the home is disconnecting us from the ability to adjust and own our own environment — which is a bit sad. Paint is cheap. We just need to take the time at the weekend and give things a go,” says Dee.
